I can't turn off silent mode after updating Apple Watch
My Apple Watch updated November 2023 I can no longer slide up out turn on or off the silent mode. So now my watch has no sound.

Swipe up move to a quick press and release of the flat oval side button (see picture)
Use Control Center on Apple Watch - Apple Support
DO NOT hold the button, as that brings up the Emergency services display.
If you have issues getting the quick press and release timing just right, play with this option:
Settings -> Accessibility -> Side Button Click Speed.
I like Slow. My Wife likes Slowest. This is also helpful when try to bring up Apple Pay via a Double Press and Release.
