Setting up digital signature token, paired with SmartCard; being asked for an existing PIN?

Hi, when I insert a digital siganture token in my laptop I need to pair my smartcard and I am asked for a pin code. This is not pe pin code of my laptop, of the token and I don't know where to find this pin code. I just found out about this smartcard authentification. Can you please help?
