MacBook Pro 2023 Bluetooth Distortion

When connecting bluetooth speakers to my Macbook Pro 2023 it plays well until I start performing other tasks (surfing web, opening other applications etc.). Once I start opening other applications or surfing the web the sound gets distorted. If I stop my other tasks it seems to go away. What would be causing this?

How to fix Bluetooth Audio Stuttering on MacBook Air M1 2020? MacBook Air M1 2020 running Ventura 13.4.1 I've tested wired audio without any problems I've used multiple bluetooth audio devices (AirPods Pro; Bose bluetooth speaker) successfully with my other devices without any problems Bluetooth audio devices have intermittent choppy/stuttering for ~1 sec every 30 sec-5 mins.
