How to find and delete Duplicates in iCloud

I have iCloud, I have two folders there which may include duplicates [we are not talking about the duplicates of folders on my computer = we are talking about two folders only on/in iCloud] - I use TidyUp on my computer to cull dupes but am open to some other software if it can review the two folders and delete the dupes in one of them [one is an older folder that was probably copied in part into the newer one]

That's right - in a way - I don't. have Desktop and Documents synced - honestly I just don't want them synced - and the 2 folders I want to compare are resident only on iCloud == one is a partial duplicate of each other.

I guess what I can/will/should do is download those 2 folders to my computer and do my TidyUp search and then put back the final culled one -- thanks.

Desktop and documents need not be enabled. If you sync iCloud Drive (meaning it’s turned on), your files are all on your Mac. If you enabled optimize storage, then the least accessed files may be in iCloud only.

the only way to have files reside in iCloud only, and not on you Mac, is through optimizing or by turning off iCloud Drive.

your files are accessible under iCloud Drive in finder.
