Apple Watch face numerals reduce contrast in Control Center

After a recent update, the selected watch face appears very blurry in the background of the Control Center as does its color. This greatly reduces the contrast of the Control Center making it somewhat more difficult to read. Previously, with just black and white, I could read things like my battery power without having to put on reading glasses. I've had to select a watch face with a black background and very thinly outlined large numerals for the best contrast in the Control Center.
