BEST Virtual Machine Windows for MacBook Pro

I am looking for a FREE virtual machine that can run ANY version of Windows on a MacBook Pro 13" (Mid-2010 Edition). I just want to run some simple applications.

No problem however I think you will find there is only the 1 free virtual machine that will run MS Windows on your Mac. If you want to investigate Parallels and VM Ware Fusion these are the other 2 tools that will allow you to run MS Windows in a Virtual environment. However both tools are not free, each run in the neighborhood of $50-75 however if you are a good shopper you may find them for less.

Personally I use Fusion but since converting to a Mac 3 years ago find I rarely ever turn on MS Windows any more. The performance is very good and the support and installation are straightforward.

That would have to be Virtual Box by Sun. Of course for virtualization you still need a full license of MS Windows. You can find Virtual Box at:
