Macbook Air M2 Charger Blinking Orange After Sonoma Update 14.2

My MacBook Air M2, purchased just a few months ago, has recently developed a charging issue. Following the Sonoma update, everything functioned perfectly, but after the 14.2 (23C64) update, the charging became problematic i.e keeps on blinking orange . It occasionally charges automatically, but the inconsistency is worrying. Could you please assist me in troubleshooting this problem?
