Is cyberghostvpn a good option for Apple users?

No, it isn’t.

Installing on an iPad is very difficult and most people would probably give up. The service didn’t really work for me so I cancelled the subscription. Still to hear from the company, but of course it was only a couple of days ago, so I’ll give them another two or three days.

The app downloaded and installed on a MacBook Pro, but did not respond at all when I tried to open it. So I tried to delete it and this was impossible. Using all usual means. Restarted the MacBook Pro and then was able to delete the app.

I’m putting this out on the forum in the hope that my fellow uses will avoid this, and therefore save themselves a lot of time. It is incredible that a supposedly reputable VPN provider, voted number one in Portugal, should be putting out such rubbish for a price.

No doubt, works fine for Windows, but not for Apple.

this is not the only firm that supposedly support Apple, but in fact does not. One to add to the list.

As an aside, a public VPN does not provide any security. In fact it routes all your traffic through the company's VPN servers where they can do whatever they wish to do with your data. They then route your traffic over the Internet to its final destination, just as you would have done without the VPN service.

Unless you are using the VPN to create a private secure tunnel between you and a private network, such as your workplace or school network, the VPN is not providing any security.
