Unable to send sms from my primary number

I recently purchased iPhone 15 plus from which I am unable to send sms from my primary number it fails to deliver the sms though I receive sms on the same number. My second number i.e e-sim I can send as well receive sms from it. So the problem is with the primary no that is inserted as a physical sim which does not send sms to anyone outside.

Note: I can send sms and receive sms from my primary no to second no and vice-versa in my iPhone. I just noticed that I can also send sms to other iPhone users that was a bit strange to me.

When I insert the primary sim card in any other android mobile I can send as well receive sms from my primary number. I need help to solve this.

Contact your carrier, SMS is their service.

SMS uses your cellular voice channel; it should always work if you can make phone calls. MMS requires cellular data; it can’t use Wi-Fi. So you need to have cellular data turned on for that account to send MMS messages.

About the only things that can interfere with MMS that you have control over is the MMS switch in Settings/Messages and having VPN installed. If these are not an issue then you need to contact the carrier.
