Contacts not syncing across devices and type of phone number all reset to "phone"!

I have been using all Apple devices for over 10 years. My contacts are not syncing across my devices and about a year ago all my contacts lost the setting of what type of phone number each was like: iPhone, work, mobile, and so on. Now all numbers say "phone". I do not know if the two are related or not. My iPhone 13 seems to be the only device with all of my correct contacts. I did get a new MacBook Pro a year ago and set it up clean instead of moving all my data with migration assistant.

I have tried all the standard fixes:

"Things to check first

Check the system status of iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders to check for services outages or connection issues.

If a reminder isn't showing up on some of your devices, make sure that your iPhone and iPad have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, or that your Mac has the latest version of macOS.

Make sure that you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. Then, check that you turned on Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders in your iCloud settings.

Check the date and time settings on your device to make sure they're correct for your current location."

All my settings are correct and I have turned off and on syncing contacts on each device.

Any advice would be helpful.
