Dent on MacBook Air M2 Midnight 2022

I just got my MacBook in the Midnight colour way and dented it near the Apple logo. Apple says it won't give a repair and says I have to pay $400 out of pocket. It this just? if so then is there anything I can do to hide or remove the dent?

If you dented it then Apple will not fix. I know of no way to easily repair but you could try a suction cup like they use to remove small dents in sheet metal. I have some that I used to remove iMac glass screens. However, I suspect the material may be too thick to move.
