Why can I not update my Mac? Its 10.13.6 early 2015. Im noticing google sheets aren't supported anymore nor will Safari or chrome load websites completely.

You can and should update that Mac to macOS 12 "Monterey".

That should go without saying, but if you do not back up your Mac, then by definition the possibility of permanently losing all its contents does not concern you in the least. That holds true whether or not you choose to update your Mac.
