I’ve just downloaded the new update for my iPhone and iPad. The journal app is only on my iPhone 12. Does anyone know why this is or if is not available for my iPad (despite AppStore info saying it is available for iOS and iPadOS 17.2 and “Works on this iPad” .
any ideas are very much appreciated

I defined “at this time” as the time iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 were current.
Since then, Apple has released iOS 17.2.1 for iPhone. The Journal app status is unchanged.
