Apple Music not syncing on Mac Sonoma 14.2

Hi Guys,

After updating to Sonoma, my Music isn't syncing to the library.

It keeps showing the error "Genius cannot be updated right now. 180004 error."

I did a fresh install and even then the problem refuses to go away. I have tried setting up a new library using option key but no luck.

Yes i have an active subscription to AM as I use it on my Samsung phone where it works flawlessly.

Also my iCloud is at 79% for the default 5 GB. I plan to delete my backup to bring it down.

Please help.

Apple Music not updating changes, then reverts back to original state I am updating some playlists, moving songs from one list to another, and in some cases deleting a playlist. Once I have completed these changes, and deleted the playlist, it does not disappear, but hangs there.... I have closed the music app down, and re-opened, and all the changes I have made has reverted back to there original state. I have tried to update the Library, but nothing happens...... Apple music library not working Hi, i recently resubscribed to apple music after quite some time. I try to add music to my library such as songs or playlists but it won't add. They appear for some seconds but then they disappear. On my mac i get this error message: Genius results can’t be updated right now. An unknown error occurred (18004). On my iPhone i can't really do anything. I also got the message: icloud music library can't sync (or something like that i don't really remember). I have tried every possible solution i found online, such as turning off sync, signing out and back in, uninstalling etc, and nothing helped. I would appreciate any help!

Apple Music 'original file could not be found' error I have had an issue start occurring on Apple Music recently. When I try to play some songs Apple Music says the song could not be found because the original file could not be found. Then it asks if I'd like to locate it with the option to locate or cancel. I simply select cancel and then it starts playing it. I don't have any songs stored locally on my computer. My Apple Music is far too large for this. I have an Apple Music subscription and all the songs I own are stored in the cloud. I notice this only happens on older songs that I actually purchased before I started my Apple Music streaming subscription. Anything new that I simply add to my library instead of purchasing I don't have this problem. How can I resolve this? It is annoying when I try to play these songs and have to select Cancel each time. Even though I own these songs is there anyway to simply 'add them to library'? I'd be glad to do that for all older songs from my library even though I already own them. What I mean is instead of using the copy I purchased simply add them to my library and stream them. I know I can go song by song but would like to bulk add them if that is possible. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
