I opened a Logic Pro podcast session (which I did a month ago), and the playback speed is about 1/20 of what it should be. Very, very slow. I don't know how this happened or how to fix it. I'm using the latest version of Logic. Very odd, indeed. Thanks for your help.

You were right! Somehow, a tempo was set (standard 4/4 in C) and that slowed the whole thing down. When I deleted it in Global Tracks the problem was solved. Strange!

Is the tempo correct?
Choose Edit > Tempo > Adjust Tempo using Region Length and Locators. A dialog asks if you want to change the tempo of the entire project, or create a tempo change for the section of the project occupied by the selected region.
I only use time, since I'm doing voice recording. I don't even know how to set tempo, believe it or not.
