My 2011 MacBook Pro 17 in running High Sierra has no backlight on the keyboard, how hard is it to fix? is it maybe just a light bulb and how do I change it?

The keyboard backlight uses an array of LEDs that last essentially forever. Whatever is causing the keyboard not to illuminate, that's not it.

It is not a causal fix for the home owner, the entirety of the Display comes off, the logic board comes out— a lot can go wrong in this dis-assemble/ re-assemble
