apple pay tap isn’t working

i’ve taken my case off, behind my case i have a picture and i’ve also taken it off and nothing worked. i’ve signed in and out of my icloud, i’ve turned off and on my phone, but it doesn’t work. pls help

Check that you're able to use Apple Pay: Contact your card issuer to see if they support Apple Pay. Update to the latest version of iOS, watchOS or macOS. Confirm that you have Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode set on your device.

If you can't add a card to Apple Wallet to use with Apple Pay
