Add To Library button missing

I have Apple Music on my Mac and iPhone and the add to library option is now gone. Is this a technical problem or have they just made an idiotic decision?

The song itself doesn’t appear on my library, only in the playlist making the library more messier and more difficult to find songs. "Add to Library" option is missing Trying to add non-Music purchased music to Apple Music. Started dragging and dropping from folder in Finder into Recently Added in Music. Then after a few, it stopped. I had initially tried to just use Add to Library function which existed before, but months later (post Ventura update), the "Add to Library" function doesn't exist. Why is there not an intuitive process for simply adding music to one's own library?

Unable to find "Add to Playlist" option in Apple Music on Windows I'm trying to add some music to my playlist, but when I click the "..." in the song there is no "add to playlist" like it used to. I only have the "add to library" and I don't want to add those songs to the library. I checked on my iPhone AM app and there I have the "add to playlist" option. Where this option went on the windows app? BTW, just in case...I'm on Windows 10. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Do you have an active subscription to Apple Music? Is the Sync Library option enabled in both devices? See Use Sync Library with your Apple Music subscription - Apple Support.
