Bluetooth not working on iPhone 15pro max

I have a new 15pro max and had to install the latest software to transfer from my 12pro max. Only my watch ultra1 and beats earbuds are linked. I cannot link my car as it doesn’t appear in a Bluetooth search either by the phone or car. No other Bluetooth devices appear.

iPhone XS Max, iOS 14

Did you have your car forget your old paired iPhone? Did you rename your new iPhone to a different name?

Once you have had your car forget your previous iPhone and renamed the phone name on your new Phone, try to pair the car with the new phone. This usually requires going into the infotainment settings in the car to add a new device, then open Bluetooth Settings on your iPhone to connect the phone to the car.

Any other Bluetooth devices you want to connect with your new iPhone will have to be paired again to the new iPhone, which means they must be in pairing mode per the manufacturers instructions to put them in pairing mode in order for the phone to see and pair with the device.

I did not tell the car to forget the old iphone(s), there are two in the menu. I’ll do that then follow the very helpful suggestions from you and BorsCuZeama

When I get a new iPhone, which I do every year, the first thing I do is have my car forget the old phone, rename the new phone in Settings > General > About > Name and then pair the new phone with my car (following the directions from the car manufacturer about how to pair a cell phone with the car) and have never had an issue. We know you don't have a Bluetooth issue on your iPhone because your watch and AirPods are connected to the new phone.

Since your AW and earbuds are connect it doesn't sound like this is an issue with the Bluetooth. It's likely that you will have to go through the setup process with your car again. That is something the dealership should be able to help you with. Sometimes when pairing a car, on the car info-system you have to go into pairing mode for the car to show up on your phone, depending on the brand. I would recommend reaching out to your dealership, or if you can post the make model and year of your car I might be able to find step by step instructions for you.

Since your iPhone is still covered by warranty, I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

I'm not finding anything for that specific model year, but this is what I found and it might work. It's worth a shot before trying to go through the dealership.

"Put the iphone Bluetooth into search mode.

Tell the car -by pushing phone command button on wheel to Pair phone

Car tells you to put phone into search mode and then type 1 2 3 4 as the bluetooth code.

Phone will see the car - will list as Aston Martin. Put code in

It will then fail! Car says pairing failed.

But you now have the iphone recognising the Aston Martin bluetooth, so on the phone, select "Aston Martin" on the bluetooth menu. It will bring up the boxes to put in the passcode. Put in 1 2 3 4, but do NOT press pair on the phone yet.

Tell the car -by pushing the wheel button to pair phone. Then immediatley press the Pair button (top right) on the phone.

Should then pair"
