How do I update My iPad with the IOS 16.0 update?

iPad Air 2nd gen is supported on iPadOS 15, and no later. Currently, iPadOS 15.8.

For apps or services requiring iPadOS 16, you will need a newer (used, refurb) or new iPad.

The iPad Air 2 does not support iPadOS 16.

An iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 4 isn't capable of 16 or above; they require an A9 or better CPU.
