Use a Lightning to SD card adapter, select photos, share, save to files, go to files, drag them to the SD card.

Transfer Photos from PC to iPad 8 I have been trying to find an easy way to transfer photos from my PC to my wife's iPad 8. I don't want to use the cloud! I tried using the card reader with a SD card. The only thing I found that works is the card right out of the camera. The iPad will not recognize a card that I have uploaded photos to from my PC. I there is a photo on the camera card that I edited in any way, it will not be recognized. It has been frustrating to say the least. It should not be that hard.

is it safe and feasible to transfer picture files from an sd card to an ipad? I have been transferring picture files from sd cards to my ipad for years. Recently I had a large amount (3000 pictures). After 700 pictures transferred (many corrupted), the process ended and wiped my sd card clean. Nothing left. Over 2000 pictures gone. I was told that it was not actually safe to transfer to an ipad. that I needed to only use a computer.
