iPad Pro 11inch 4th Gen (M2) Battery issues ?!?!

Hello,

I just purchased my brand new iPad after trading up from my 1st generation iPad Pro. This is a huge step and large financial investment in order to improve my work experience on the iPad. unfortunately, there is a noticeable discrepancy in battery performance between these models, which is crazy considering my other iPad was 6 years old.

After reading similar forms it seems the issue may be with the current update to iOS 17, although I don’t have a direct comparison because I bought this model AFTER the latest round of updates.

Is there anything Apple can do to rectify this problem because it is NOT what I spent $1000+ on…

FYI I am extremely techy but I know that sometimes the problem is out of my hands. That said I have removed all background applications and the IPad is up to date with the current firmware available.

Is there a patch coming soon? I do not want to have to exchange this model for something else.
