Text Message Notifications Repeat Three Times -repeat set to never

IPhone 15 Pro, running latest version of IOS and I have restarted my phone many times.

Since I have gotten this phone (purchased new), the text message notification repeats three times for every text message. Once when my phone receives it, a second time when I pick up my phone, and a third time when I open the text. Or, if I am holding my phone when the text comes in, it just dings three times. Makes me look way more popular than I actually am lol

As stated above, the notification customization is set to never repeat, ios is current, and I have tried restarting my phone. I cannot find a solution to this. Can anyone help?
