Macbook going into sleep earlier than it is supposed to

I have set the "turn off display when inactive " to 10 mins but when my macbook is inactive for just a minute the display turns off. I dont know why this is happening. Also, in system information in the power section the "system sleep timer (minutes)" is set to 1. what does that mean and how can i fix this problem ???

"Turn display off when inactive" doesnt work in Ventura I noticed that setting "Turn display off when inactive" time in Ventura doesn't work. I set it to 1 minute, wait 1 minute with no keyboard pressing and mouse moving and display is still on. System restart doesn't help. I remember I had similar problem in previous version of macOS, but it was random and restart helped. Is there any way to check in the terminal what time of "Turn display off when inactive" has been set? Is there any way to check internal system inactivity counter with terminal?

Macbook falling asleep when locking the screen even when plugged in When plugged in, I want my macbook to stay awake unless I explicitly put it to sleep. But no matter how I change the settings, it still falls asleep when I lock the screen, even if it is plugged in. I did the following: System Settings > Battery > Power Adapter Turn display off after = Never All other checkboxes unchecked, except for 'Wake for network access' Am I missing something here? Thx.

My MacBook shuts down instead of sleeping Randomly my MacBook Pro 2015 13inch has started shutting down whenever the display is off instead of sleeping like normal, it also turns off when I close the lid, I cannot find any fix to this and its making using my Mac pretty difficult at the minute I have the display set to not turn off but that drains the battery like crazy and I still cant close the lid even on that setting without it turning off

Try and restart the Mac to see if the issues are persisting

i have tried that. it didnt fix the problem
