Complete Reset Macbook Pro

Hello people, I'd like to know how to complete reset my macbook to factory settings. I am going to reinstall my os soon, but i want to know what can i also reset or clean like ram cache & others.
So if anyone could list the different stuff you can reset that an os reinstall won't, please do.
