Finding iPad info on google

Hi everyone, I hope I’m not being too bad of a noob here: I’ve been a pro user of Macs my whole life, bought an iPad a year ago for work, and it drives me crazy that every time I’m trying to perform a basic task and I cannot figure out how to and try google for answers, google will ignore the “iPad” and show me MacOS answer (“drag and drop this”, “your MacBook that” etc).

I tried different Google functions and ways of typing but cannot ever find answers. iPad is never there except for the odd obscure forum link found after scrolling way down which never contains an answer.

In an era where you can find answers for anything immediately while working with complicated niche tech systems, it’s absurd that a basic consumer little machine like an iPad, from one of the biggest companies in the planet should be a mystery to operate.

Example: how to copy/export pictures from iPad as JPEG without losing date and time info?

Thanks a million

Hi,

I’ve had the exact same experience. Incredibly frustrating. Wish I had purchased the MacBook Air but the salesperson made the IPad sound like a better fit. I really just need it for basic functions - writing, saving documents, etc. I’ve looked everywhere but no luck other than a ‘how to set up your iPad’. For such an expensive purchase I would think Apple would do better by their customers.
