Persistent Issue: Reboot because of a problem with my Mac

Hello everyone,

I hope this post finds you well. I am reaching out to seek assistance with a recurring problem I've been experiencing with my Mac.

Every morning, when I wake up and attempt to use my Mac, I find that it has restarted overnight. Upon logging in, I receive the message: "Your computer was restarted because of a problem." This has become quite frustrating, as it disrupts my workflow and I lose any unsaved work.

I have tried troubleshooting on my own, but I haven't been able to pinpoint the cause of this issue. I have checked the system logs, but the technical details are beyond my understanding.

Mac Details:

  • MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2021 Apple M1 Max
  • Sonoma
  • 14.0 (23A344)

I am reaching out to the community in the hope that someone may have encountered a similar issue or has the technical know-how to guide me in troubleshooting and resolving this problem.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated, and I look forward to any suggestions or insights you can provide. Thank you in advance!

In addition to updating the OS: in order to have a better idea of what may be causing this problem,

please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.

This will tell us about software modifications and other possible causes. The kernel panic report you posted is mostly useful for engineers, but for us users it tell us very little.

" CleanMyMac " claims another victim 😔

This will include CleanMyMac , aka “ BrickMyMac

It should be removed as per Developers Instructions

Specific to CleanMyMac aka “ BrickMyMac “

To put the CleanMyMac in context and the damages it may have or has already done.

This application can or will Muck Up your User Account ( Home Folder ) of this machine.

It does not touch the Operating System itself unless you consider your User Account ( Home Folder ) as part of the Operating System

Then in that specific context - it has Mucked Up the Operating  System

bonjour methdya,

com.apple.driver.AppleBCMWLANBusInterfacePCIe = WiFi family driver apparently

update current version 14.2.1

if the problem is still there, then observe WiFi

use troubleshooting tools :

use sysdiagnose tool

observe log in console

Use the built-in diagnostic tools for WiFi

to validate that the problem is indeed due to WiFi, use Ethernet only if possible.

Specific to " MacBooster " to illustrate what is can and may have already done

MacBooster

As the computer has suffered enough, it is IMHO time to start over

No matter how long of time and effort to clean up the issues.

Generally, there will be residue elements of these softwares still left on the computer

Make a Time Machine Backup Before proceeding and if possible a second TM Backup each to separate External Drives

The beauty of this computer,Apple Silicon, is that the below method, does Not Touch the Operating System itself.

It does, as the Title implies, removes the User Account and all that it contains.

This would mean , everything in the User Folder including the BrickMyMac and Mac Booster application

Erase your Mac and reset it to factory settings
