cant’t share screenshots on whatsapp

Hello. Me and my wife we got the 15pm and we have a little bit of an issue.

non of us can share screenshots immediately after is been taken and trying to share it straight to whatsapp, the app doesnt open.

i have to save it to photos, then go in photos app then share.

latest whatsapp version, she has latest version of ios 17.2 i have 17.1.2 same thing , doesnt work.

any idea?

Share foto on “photos” app to WhatsApp When I’m in the photos app, and I try to share a picture (from the photos app) to WhatsApp, it will not open WhatsApp, but it return to the share menu. the steps I follow: I view the picture tick on the square-box to share choose the WhatsApp icon (not a person, but the main WhatsApp icon) when I tick a WhatsApp contact (for example my dad) it will open WhatsApp. on my previous phone it wasn’t a problem, but on my new one (13 pro) I can’t get it work. help!

Share photos on WhatsApp Sometimes When i try to share photos to my friends on WhatsApp, I select the photos and press share then try to type first two letters of friend name when enter the second letter it exist and return me to the photo again that I selected i have to close the photo app and try again it succeeded
