What can I do to Bypass iPad Passcode without restoring?

I recently inherited an iPad from my father, but the previous one didn't remember the passcode. I also don't want to lose all my data when I restore the device. Is there a way to bypass the passcode without restoring the device?

I have searched online and most of the solutions involve recovering the device, which is not an option for me. I also tried entering different passcode combinations, but after a few attempts, the iPad was disabled and I had to wait a long time before I could try again. Is there a way to unlock the iPad and access the data without recovering it?
