If you see the message below, or similar "inactive" messages:

- "Inactive" Apple ID/Account

- "Verification Failed. This Apple ID is not active."

You need to have Apple reactivate the account. Please contact official Apple Support for help with an "inactive" Apple ID. The people responding on this forum are Apple product users like yourself and cannot do anything with your account.

Note that having an "inactive" account is not the same as having a disabled account. If your account says it is "disabled", see this article --> If your Apple ID is locked or disabled - Apple Support

If it really is saying "invalid" then make sure you are entering the correct user name (email address). Invalid means it can't find it. If you are positive you are entering the correct information then contact Apple.
