MacBook Pro 14" heats up, fans don't turn on while playing Minecraft?

Hi. I'm playing Minecraft on a Macbook pro 14 inch. It has the M2 chip, and 16 gb of RAM. The problem is that the computer really heats up while playing, and the fans are not turning on. I've checked the memory used while playing and it seems to be using about 10 gb. I'm wondering if I should worry about this. Thank you!

If it does not shut down on its own, then it is not overheating, but you might try running Apple Diagnostics: Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support.

Gaming is probably the most resource-intensive activity of anything anyone is likely to do on a Mac, so give it every opportunity to keep itself cool. It's good reason to review Keep your Mac laptop within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support. As a Mac becomes warmer, frame rates start to diminish and its performance starts to become slow and clunky in an effort to keep itself from becoming too hot. Keeping it cool also means don't encase it in covers or "skins" while you are using it, and never put anything over the keyboard except your fingertips.
