MacBook Pro camera inverted Sonoma 14.1.2

I'm trying to redeem an App store gift card, but when reading the code with my laptop's camera the image is inverted and the DUMB application can't read it. I've been trying to find a solution and ChatGPT suggested to check another app and the image in ZOOM is not inverted... how can I fix it?

Photo Booth doesnt let me change this and there's no option to invert it in Apple settings.

Is my new iMac's tilted camera during video conferencing a hardware issue? More details: I have a bookshelf right behind me so it is very obvious that the image is tilted (book shelf is straight). This happens with camera set at 0.5x zoom (minimum setting), Center Stage off. I'm assuming this setting should be "neutral". I can play with camera settings to zoom in and recenter manually to make image look straight. But I don't know if the software is compensating for a hardware issue. Here is the question: Can this be a hardware issue that needs to be checked at an apple store (like camera being installed improperly) or is this the nature of the camera and if I can make it work with camera settings it should be ok. Don't have an Apple Store very close so I want to check if this really requires taking the iMac all the way to the Apple Store. Thanks [Re-Titled by Moderator]
