What is ctkahp?

I updated my Mac software today and after I put in my iCloud password, I got a message saying that ctkahp quit unexpectedly. I have no idea what this is, and I'm really worried about it. Is it possible that I've been hacked? Should I reinstall MacOS?

Idk if this is relevant but I think I put in the wrong password for iCloud right before I got this message. I tried looking up ctkahp but still no idea what it is and if I should be concerned

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.2

Tokens store cryptographic objects like keys and certificates. They also may perform operations—for example, encryption or digital signature verification—using these objects.

The framework is used to enable a token for two-factor authentication in macOS. Authentication services manage associations between users and identities stored on a token, granting users access when the appropriate token is present and unlocked.

It is part of the System frameworks

/System/Library/Frameworks/CryptoTokenKit.framework/ctkahp.bundle/Contents/MacOS/ctkahp

if in doubt you can run a sample from your Activity Monitor.app

I would sign out of AppleID and back in again and compare your results.
