Apple won't let me download resident evil 4 remake bc of not enough storage, but have more than enough storage on my Mac for the game

I have 170gb free, but I keeps stopping on 54gb. I have been trying to download it for 5 days now. something happens at 50+ gb and it stops downloading and restarts the download.

I have 110gb of storage but apple still don't let me download it

MacOS requires over 9 GB of storage to go from cold start to up and working.

a Boot drive with only 80 GB free is FULL.

I should add that I'VE ALREADY DOWNLOADED IT BEFORE so i know it works. This is mindboggling

Hey, I've downloaded and completed RE4 on my macbook...If I delete it (to save space) will I be able to re-download in future, without having to pay again? Assume so, but want to be sure....

same i started with 90 free that wasnt good enough so i deleted all my scenepacks that i could so i had 108 free STILL wasnt good enough so i got it to 123 still didnt work but at 135 it worked so u just have to delete a lot of stuff!

I had to clear space until I had around 130 GB free before it would permit the download

Just my 5ct.. isnt the appstore download folder in the homefolder? could one not move the homefolder to ext. with lotsa space? Or even create a new user with homefolder on ext.?

Have space and downloaded RE4, but keeps saying this is a Demo, despite receipt-proof that I paid for game and add-ons. Any advice on how to fix this?

The same for me, 380 gb free; download always stops at 59 approx. I have an m3 macbook air with 512 gb of sdd space
