Incomplete Music Sync, lost Playlists on iPad after canceling Music subscription
I wrote all of this yesterday but can’t find it now. I had to cancel my Apple Music subscription. While it seems like a complete rip off to no longer have the songs I added to my Library, Playlists or downloaded after paying a high monthly charge, it is far more troubling that now most of the over 2500 songs and albums I have added from my own CDs and purchased over many years no longer appear on my iPad Pro 11” (4th Gen) - (only 567 songs appear) and the playlists are totally gone. I was able to restore most of them in my iPhone 15, and the playlists are there but I don’t think all of the songs are on the iPhone either. It is hard to tell as it does not give me a complete count to compare to what is on my MacBook Pro.Space is not the issue, I have 412 GB available on the iPad and 377GB available on my iPhone. I saw some directions that say to uncheck iCloud sync in Settings>Preferences to have them sync back to the iPad but I cannot find this anywhere. It is very frustrating to not have access to all of the music I added from what I own and purchased previously on my iPad and the playlists I organized. Any help on how to do this would be very appreciated.
Also it would be nice if Apple (if you are reading this) would provide full information in advance about what happens when one subscribes and then ends the subscription to Music. Please help!
