iPhone 12 Pro Max Video Issues

I recorded videos with my iPhone 12pro max and when I went into photos to view and share I see a black screen with the minutes and seconds on there. When I select the video, it gives me a black screen and I am not able to play the video. On one of them I am able to play it but all I get is the audio not the actual video.

I can record a video and send it to other people, but it will not playback on my phone—same situation with anything downloaded. If I download a TikTok straight from the app, I can send it to others but it will not play on my phone. I can't even scrub through the videos -all I can see is the first initial frame. Everything is downloaded to iCloud correctly. Video plays on all my other devices normally and video airdropped from my phone to my mac plays normally as well. Any help would be appreciated!

update 18.1.1 cant veiw old videos I purchased a new iPhone 13 in March of 24. Only 53 GB used of 256 GB. After updating my phone to the 18.1.1 update, I can no longer view any videos I took before the update. The thumbnail of the videos appear but when I tap to play them the screen goes blank and there is no sound. However, the play bar appears to she the video is playing. I can take new videos with no issue but I would like to be able to see my old memories. I’ve worked with the photo settings but nothing has fixed this problem. Anyone else experiencing this? And what else could I try to fix this bug.

Cinematic videos not playing on my iphone 16 pro I had bought new iphone 16 pro and the cinematic videos that i have recording is not playing on photos app it is stuck . Idk what is happening . Play button isnt working i can drag it only.
