Can I downgrade from Sonoma to Ventura on 16-inch MacBook M3 Pro?

I just bought the new 16-inch MacBook M3 Pro and it's been working great until I tried running the 2020 Vectorworks on it. The software doesn't want to open at all. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. After a bit of a research into the issue I found that the software is not compatible with the newest OS.

My colleague is running the 2020 Vectorworks on Ventura with no problem. Is there a way to downgrade the OS my laptop came with?

I already checked other forums and tried downloading Ventura from the App Store but I get an error saying 'The requested version of macOS is not available. Please check if your Mac is compatible with this software.'

I am trying to avoid upgrading Vectorworks as it means all my colleagues will have to do the same...

Any help will be much appreciated!

Downgrading macOS is only supported, if the desired macOS version had been installed on the Mac at some point in the past.

If your MacBook Pro came with macOS 14 preinstalled, you can't downgrade to a previous macOS.
