which charging adapter is compatible and best with the iPad mini 1st generation?

Hello,

I have an iPad mini 1st generation and its 5w charging adapter is not working, also its USB-A to lightning cable is not working. I will buy a new USB-A to lightning cable but I am confused about which charging adapter to buy like should I buy the 12W or the 5W or the 20W charging adapter.

it does not really matter, as long as the AC charger output 5volt DC and can produce a minimum of 1amp (that would be 5watt) then it should work

and there is no minimum watt the device draws as much current as it was made to charge with and no more.

so if the cable fit the ipad and the cable fit the ac charger you're as good as gold
