After updating to iOS 17.2.1 Music app greyed almost all my songs

I never used Apple Music, all songs were downloaded as a files and imported into Library. I still can play them in Music app on macOS, but as for iOS I receive error 'This song is currently unavailable in your country or region'. On the other side I can't sync macOS 14.2.1 with iOS because the process stucks at step 2 'Preparing to sync'. And I noticed one more issue: when I try to add a new song to my old playlist there is no playlists after right click on the song - add to playlist. But I'm still able to add songs to my playlists with drag&drop.

This is the worst experience from Apple during last years of usage.

I can remember only one case which was worse it was around 3 years ago when Apple deleted all my logins-passwords from iCloud Keychain.

I've succeeded to sync MacBook with iPhone with help of the solution from 'Stuck in “Preparing To Sync"' topic, but it didn't solve the problem. Only 15 song out of 500+ Library are playable, what a shame, Apple...

I found a solution by Lightguitar which worked for me:

Same problem with iOS17.2.1 and macOS 14.2.1.
I discovered the following work-around. (But the whole thing is still quite annoying.)
1. When stuck in sync, pull-off the sync cable
2. Next, plug-in the cable again
3. Skip the generation of "Backup" to speed-up (it was generated just before the stuck)
4. The sync process goes on and finishes

Also I performed a few additional steps before sync attempts:

-switched off my apple watch

-deleted all music from the iPhone

After restoring all music back I noticed the same issue 'all greyed tracks in the music' in my watches. Solution was much easier rather than trying to sync MacBook with iPhone, I just deleted all music from the watches and added it again through watch application in the phone.

And I was disappointed to discover that new music app in watches doesn't allow anymore to switch music between different playlists on your phone. The only thing you can do in the phone with watches is to control music in current playlist.
