My iPhone 15 Pro Max works fine with carplay on my car. And I assume many others as well, as otherwise this forum woulds be flooded with complaints about it, and they seem to be at best sporadic like yours.
There does not appear to be any evidence that Apple knowingly put out something that is broken.
More like specific cars with specific hardware may be exhibiting some issues. But that is not something Apple can fix.

What exactly is your issue? You are assuming everybody is having whatever issue you are having, but we have no idea what is happening.
If you actually explain what issue you are having, maybe someone here can help you fix it.

I hope they soon fix it as well! I tried to connect to my friends car only to find out I have to play “find the right cord” to get it to work! The iPhone 15 cord isn’t compatible with her car as it’s not the USB A! 😭 did you find a cord that was able to work?! If so, which one?
My CarPlay has always been glitchy even before iPhone 15 pro max. It didn’t help that the usb c cable tha comes with the phone doesn’t work. I had to get a data cable. Now that doesn’t work either. Plenty of complaints on Honda forums about the same.
How is it Apple's fault that you don't have the right cable?
What exactly do you want them to fix?
i got the correct cable as directed by apple but it is glitching.
Is apple working on a fix for iphone 15 and Carplay?
