Unable to wipe corporate owned device after user left

I have a corporate device that i need to wipe but the user left the company and I don't have his apple password. How can I wipe. I don't see anything in Apple Business Manager

Do not release the device from Apple Business Manager as that is you proof of ownership (chain of custody). Reach out to Apple as request a removal of activation lock. You can start here: https://al-support.apple.com/#/additional-support. Or call AppleCare. You will be required to provide proof of ownership. Make sure you inform Apple this is a corporate device and that it is present in Apple Business Manager.


Apple will remove the activation lock and you will be required to perform a full system erase.
