Bluetooth issues continue
Has anyone heard of progress fixing the issues with iPhone 15 dropping Bluetooth connectivity? It’s to the point that I need to purchase an older iPhone as I can’t drive not connected.

My Bluetooth connectivity was so bad on my iPhone 15 Pro Max that I had to return it and went back to using my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I have never had any Bluetooth connectivity issues with the 13 and it works perfectly even with through multiple iOS 17 updates. My 13 is currently at iOS 17.2.1 and no issues at all.
I would like to upgrade eventually, but first need to know whether the iPhone 15 Pro Max Bluetooth issues have been resolved by OS updates or if it is simply a hardware problem that cannot be resolved via an OS update.
Not yet, it’s really starting to get under my skin too. My 12 Pro Max has had Bluetooth issues since iOS 17.1, it’s like I’m on a phone call with somebody who has bad service and it’ll break out for a few seconds and then cut back in. And it does it repeatedly. My touchscreen randomly goes unresponsive on my apps too, the phone itself doesn’t actually freeze though, just the apps.
Is it _possible_ that the Bluetooth issues are partly caused by the in-car system? Maybe something changed with iPhone 15 that conflicts with flaws in the car Bluetooth system? Is your car fully up-to-date with any firmware updates? Have you been able to maintain a connection with other devices, and only the 15 is giving you grief?
One tip is to turn off Bluetooth on any devices that don't need it. Too many unused signals can cause devices to struggle to maintain connections. Airwaves congestion.
I took my phone to the Genius Bar and they, after diagnostics, replaced the motherboard. Now, it's worse. While listening to music it will drop out then come back on within a second. While on a call it will switch to "Private Mode", and I have to manually switch it back to hands free.
I have contacted Apple support and reached a senior tech who was extremely helpful. They want to run about an hours' worth of diagnostics to gather log files so this can be taken to engineering. I'm pretty sure it's a software issue since the Bluetooth module was replaced. Still doesn't quite rule out hardware but it's looking like a software issue more and more. I did say that I have seen thousands of people clicking, "Me too" on posts about Bluetooth connectivity, so I'm not alone here. Doubt that will matter in the long run, but you never know.
We will see what happens tomorrow.
I have severe issues and this is a replacement 15 Pro they sent me.
I can’t respond as Apple has me blocked.
That sentence is all I can say
