I purchased 2 100.00 gift cards yesterday at the local Walmart. I opened them myself and scanned them but one said it had been redeemed already. How is that possible and I need my card or my 100.00 back

It is a common scam for people to take cards from racks that are available to the public and peel the stickers off themselves to get the code. All they need to do is replace the scratch off stickers that are available to purchase on Amazon and put the card back on the rack. They will then wait for the card to be activated and use it before you get a chance to. This scam is not new to retailers and if they cared for the customers that shop their stores, they would not display them out in the open where everyone has access to them. It is best to always purchase gift cards at a location that provides security by selling them behind a counter. As for getting your money back I would start with the retailer, since they are the source of the problem. Apple also provides this Support Article that deals with problems associated with Gift Cards.

If you are in the US, you can call Apple at: 800-MY-APPLE. I'd also suggest taking this up with Walmart, since they sold you the card and they have your money.
It’s a very common scam, especially around the holidays. Take it back to the store where you bought it.
