How can you tell if you are on 2.4 or 5ghz?
You probably can't.....if you are asking about using an iPhone.....unless....the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands on your Wi-Fi router are using different names.
You can......if you are using a Mac. Post back for more instructions.

I am trying hook up a camera (that used to work on this same network). Research shows that camera, phone (app) and router all need to be on the same 2.4ghz network to connect. I can "pause" the 5ghz on the router through the app. The camera will only connect to 2.4ghz. I am trying to confirm that the phone is on the same network. It should be if the "pause" is actually correct.
Router company reset remotely but they say device is working properly. Camera will connect at office on another network but camera customer service is no help. They say if it will connect at office then it is also working properly. I need advice on where to turn next. I feel like I am missing something simple.
