Problem reading .mts video files with Quicktime Player on MacOS Monterey 12.7.1

I have .MTS format video files on my computer. And I have 2 problems

Problem 1 I can't open these files with Quicktime player. First time I tried, I got a message that "the A52Codec.component can't not be opened".

Second time I tried, the message was just that the file can't be opened. No reason mentioned.

Problem 2 : when I import these .MTS files on my editing software (Adobe Premiere 2022), the video shows up but the audio doesn't show up.

One year ago, I could read this type of files with Quicktime player. And when imported on Adobe Premiere 2022, the audio did show up.

Nothing to do with settings of my video camera. They remained unchanged in the last years
