Bone conductive earphones

I wear the new “bone conduction” headphones that play sound into the jawbone and do not send sound into the ear canal to the eardrum. I get warnings from the “Apple Health” app about headphone time and hearing loss. These volume standards are based on Apple Earbuds pumping standard speaker sound into the ear canal to the ear drum. Does anyone know factual data/info on bone conduction sound vs earbud sound doing damage to a person’s hearing?

the way bluetooth works is that it's never compatible with a sudden device, bluetooth devices implement what is called bluetooth profiles in this case the a2dp profile List of Bluetooth profiles - Wikipedia

when they do that they will be compatible with all devices in the world that support connecting to the a2dp profile headsets/speakers/hearing aids and the likes

so the apple watch has no idea that it's shokz ... and the shokz has no idea it's an apple watch they just connect to supported profiles
