Display Issue on MacOS Sonoma 14 with Macbook Pro M1

I've been experiencing a display problem since updating to MacOS Sonoma (version 14) on my Macbook Pro 16 with an M1 chip. When I move the cursor across the desktop or windows, parts of the screen intermittently disappear and reappear, creating a disturbing visual effect.

This issue occurs randomly and does not seem to be tied to specific applications. I've tried restarting the computer and checking for updates, but the problem persists.

I'm attaching a video of my screen to illustrate the issue.

Have you encountered this problem, or do you have any suggestions for solving it?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS

—On the M1 you can use SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support to sort many anomalies.

no insight or resolve

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

—You can reinstall the macOS on top of the existing macOS in place

—If you have adequate backup of your user data, if revive fails to solve your issue, do a full restore

I've been experiencing the same thing on a brand new MacBook Pro 2023 (M3 Max) running Sonoma 14.5. First time I saw it was the day after acquiring it, having installed only Firefox, iTerm2, Slack, and a handful of developer tools. I can sometimes resolve the issue by minimizing or hiding all windows and restoring them, but not always. It seems to happen mostly when an external HDMI device is attached, but it may have happened when using a USBC external monitor, too.
