Ugrading storage not working
So I bought storage on my phone but it’s still saying I have no storage how can I fix this

You are a bit confused, unfortunately. If you paid for more storage, you purchased iCloud Storage. That simply lets you sync more data with iCloud, but it does NOT nor is it possible it can make more space on your iPhone. Once purchased, the memory on your iPhone is fixed and can never be made larger.
If you are out of space on your iPhone you need to delete things you don't need or use, which can include photos, music, apps, files, messages, email, etc.

Next time you purchase an iPhone, you need consider buying one with more memory as again, once purchased, it can never be made larger.
