I have a jbl flip 5, was paired to iPhone. wont pair now. I am able to pair jbl to other devices. Wont pair with iphone, it finds it.

Does anyone have any suggestions or encountered this problem? I have forgot device, reset by pushing the Bluetooth and the +volume button. I paired JBL with my laptop, and it connected fine. When I tried pairing it with while playing music on phone (suggested also), no luck. Have tried all the suggestions that have been posted. It worked up until the automatic update apple performed. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.
