No video on .MOV file for new MacBook Air

I just got a new MacBook Air and was checking some files. I have some .MOV files that play sound but no video. They play fine on old MacBook Pro. Haven't been able to find this addressed. Any ideas how to fix this?

Please check which video codec was used in this file.

Get Info (⌘I) in the Finder would likely show this,

or else a diagnostic tool like Invisor Lite or MediaInfo or similar.

Depending on the version OS and age of the “old MacBook Pro”, it might be that QuickTime Player doesn’t support old codecs anymore. If so, then ① a different media player app may be needed (VLC, IINA), or ② conversion may be needed (e.g. using HandBrake).
